In the Almonte General hospital on Saturday, January 12, 2008, following a long valiant struggle with cancer (Astrosytoma, Sept. 1982) and with remarkable character and as always, surrounded by the love of her family. Christine "Chris" Giles of Almonte, age 51 years. Beloved wife of Jim Lacelle and much loved mother of Christa Seguin (Jeff) of Almonte. Cherished daughter of Elford & Pat (nee Traversay) Giles. Dear sister of Mrs. Donna Fulton (Bill), Mrs. Tracey Thompson (Jamie) and Michael (Laura) Giles. Loved grandma of Morgan, Jordan and Joey Murray. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Friends may call at the C. R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte. for visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and where a complete Service, including committal will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11 am, Rev. Jim Ferrier officiating. Spring interment Auld Kirk Cemetery.
