- Beulah Maxine Shaw, of Grawn, formerly of LeRoy, Michigan, and Bath, Michigan, entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Bortz Health Care of Traverse City, Michigan. She was 84 years old.
Beulah was born to Edith Nichoson on May 13, 1927.
She formerly worked at Fisher Body and a cleaning service with Montgomery Ward, both in Lansing, Michigan. She was an active member of the Church of Christ in Luther, Michigan, and after graduating high school, spent her life as a devoted homemaker of her five children and husband, Opal "Red" Shaw.
She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Opal "Red" Shaw, to whom she was married on Aug. 31, 1946; two daughters, Linda (Chuck) Botke of East Lansing, and Kim (Dan) Tobey of Buckley; two sons, Gregory Shaw of Grawn, and Gary (Sherrie) Shaw of Milton, Fla.; grandchildren, Chuck, Heather, Nate, April, Matthew, Scott, Amber, Bryon, Susan, Tiffany, Jon, and Joe; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith; her son, Steven; and her grandson, Steven.
Memorial Service: Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Church of Christ in Luther, with visitation at 12:30 p.m.
Burial: North Park Cemetery in Luther.

Life Story Funeral Home in Traverse City handled the cremation arrangements.
