- PARRY, Janet Margaret "Marg" passed away peacefully at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm, BC on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the age of 97 years. Marg was born at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on August 17, 1919 and had been a resident of the Shuswap since 1978. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Bob (Pomponia) in Chilliwack, BC, Gordon (Louise) in Ottawa, ON and Lorraine Parry in Salmon Arm BC; Johannes (Katherine) and Joseph and Tara Weinmar in Vancouver; grandchildren, Eric (Johanna) in Toronto and Lyn (Marc-Andre) in Ottawa; Great grandchildren, Mélina in Ottawa, Alexa and Amélie in Toronto and Claire in Vancouver; Marg was predeceased by her husband, Doug in 2000. At Marg's request, there will be no formal funeral service. If so desired, contributions in memory of Marg may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
