- SCHRAM, John (Jack) Retired S/Sgt. RCMP After a long and courageous battle, John Colin Schram, at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Ruby Schram. Cherished father of Rick (Mary Ann), Kim (Wayne) Jansen and Brenda (Mike) Rochon. Loving grandfather of Warren (Tracy), Lori, Jason, Colin and great-grandfather of Cole. Dear brother of Marilyn (Bill) Cook and David (Lynne) Schram. Predeceased by father Lelland, mother Edith, sister Pauline and brother Donald. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews and his sister in-law Beatrice. Friends may pay respects at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at the Aviation Parkway on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at the Beechwood Cemetery Chapel, 280 Beechwood Avenue on Monday, December 12 at 1 p.m. followed by interment. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart Institute. Special thanks to the ICU staff at the Ottawa General Hospital.
