- Richard M. Markham Of Hockessin, DE. Age 84. Died Wednesday, April 28 at Cokesbury Village. Memorial Service: 11 am Monday, May 3 at Cokesbury Village Chapel, 726 Loveville Rd, Hockessin. Graveside Service: 9:45 am Monday at Newark Union Cemetery.
Born in Rush City, MN, Mr. Markham lived in DE since 1937. He was a chemical engineer at the duPont Company for 40 years, retiring in 1977. He was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Hillcrest, the American Chemical Society, American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Penns Grove Masonic Lodge #54 AF&AM.
Survivors: wife of 61 years, Ethel "Tiny" Markham; 1 son, Richard Stuart Markham of Lawrence, KS; 1 daughter, Susan Hollis Krall of Long Island, NY; 2 grandchildren.
