Notes |
- Ruth Holmes Beckham, a secretary, died Aug. 13, 2004, in Vancouver. She was 88.
She was born Aug. 5, 1916, in Loon Lake, Wash., and lived 54 years in Clark County.
Her husband, Harold, died in 1995.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Atkins of Brush Prairie and Ray Holmes Atkins of Cantwell, Alaska; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Beckham liked attending senior functions and enjoyed the opera, symphony, traveling and hiking.
A memorial service will begin at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Theosophical Society, Portland, Ore.
