    • FAIRLIE, Samuel 89 Years. May 7, 2005 . Late of Windsor. Predeceased by his wife Ellen (Murray) (1999). Beloved dad of Bill and Nancy Fairlie, LaSalle, Bob and Kathie Fairlie, Harrow. Loving grandpa of Bill (Kim), Becky (Kevin), Michael (Skye), Kristy, Jeff (Randee) and seven great grandchildren. Dear brother of Bert Fairlie, Jack Fairlie, Windsor. Predeceased by his brothers William, George and sisters Mary and Isabelle. Dear special friend of Shirley Harron. Sam was a member of the Riverside Royal Canadian Legion Branch #255, a World War II Navel Veteran, member of Windsor Lodge #403 and Maramos Shrine Club. At Sam's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Rosehill Cemetery, Amherstburg with Rev. Stan Fraser officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Cohen, Dr. Winger and the nurses of 8th floor west at Hotel Dieu Hospital for their kindness shown to our dad. Gerald A. Smith Funeral Home 197 King St. W. Harrow.
