- It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George on Tuesday, October 17th, 2022, in his 98th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Fay (nee Maxfield). Loving father of L. Luanne Stong (Nathan) of Clearfield, Utah, Stephen Murray (Laural) of Belleville and Robin Leslie (Paul) of Peterborough. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Matthew, Devin, Jordan, Nathan, Drew, Sabrina, Christina, Georgia, Dexter, Kimberly and great grandfather of sixteen. Brother of Donna Suurenbrook, predeceased by sisters Gladys Whitehead, Patricia Pearce and Marion Payette. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8. Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 135 Palmer Road, Belleville on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment at Whites Cemetery, Bayside. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
