- HOLMES, John Albert - passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, January 12th, 2012. Jack Holmes of Trenton in his 84th year. Beloved husband of June (Backus) Holmes. Ever remembered by his sisters Isobel Bierworth and her husband Durwood of Bancroft, Gloria Hill and her husband Alex of Trenton, Betty Riesling (Late Harry) of Trenton and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Albert and Mae Holmes and siblings Eva West (Harold) and Robert (Deborah). A Graveside Service was held at St. George's Anglican Cemetery on Saturday, January 14th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Norman Long officiated. Memorial Donations to charity of your choice would be appreciated.
