- Following a brief illness, Thomas H. Lough, 76, 49 Alexandra Ave., Waterloo, died Saturday at K-W Hospital. He was born April 19, 1877, at Cumberland, Ont., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Lough. He was an employee of the Joseph E. Seagram and Sons, Ltd., Waterloo for the past 20 years. His wife, the former Augusta Dunkel, survives him. He was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Waterloo. Also surviving are four sons, Harold and Roy of Kitchener, Norman of Ottawa and Lloyd of Waterloo; eight daughters, Mrs. Elvin (Marie) Underwood and Mrs. Lorne (Margaret) Heiman of Kitchener, Mrs. Warren (Kathleen) Boetiger and Mrs. Donald (Louise) Boetiger of Lexington, Mrs. George (Wilma) Messer,, Miss Joanne Lough and Miss Myrtle, all of Waterloo and Mrs. Charles (Jane) McFadden of Toronto, one brother, Albert of Toronto, one sister, Mrs. Margaret Taylor of Waterloo and 17 grandchildren. One son Ernest and one daughter Esther, predeceased him. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2: 30 p.m. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Rev. John G. Murdock will officiate. The body is at the funeral home.
