- GOYETTE , Joanne (nee Poitras) 1950-2015 - After a brave and courageous fight with lung cancer, we are deeply saddened to announce that on April 22, 2015 at the age of 64, Joanne Goyette has passed peacefully with family by her side. She leaves behind her devoted loving husband of 45 years Jacques Goyette; her three loving daughters Kimberley Goyette (Matt Burke), Jennifer Goyette (Mel Bond), Amy Goyette Ripley (Robert Ripley), as well as her loving sister Susan (Marcel Charlesbois), deceased sister Caroline Laniel, and brother Rene Poitras (Linda McCartney), 10 grandchildren: Jacob Cleroux, Noah Cleroux, Matthew Bond, Michael Bond, Charles Bond, Jenna Bond, Julia Ripley, Nikki Ripley, Shannen Ripley, Carter Ripley. Daughter of the late Gerard Poitras and Joyce Galloway. Special thank you to the doctors at the General Hospital, Dr. Stewart and staff, as well as Dr. Johanne Trenholm, and the wonderful staff at the Bruyere Continuing Care Hospital and Saint Vincent hospital, as well as the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Civic Hospital. Respecting Joanne's wishes, a private family memorial will take place. Funeral arrangements entrusted to KELLY FUNERAL HOME, WALKLEY CHAPEL (613-731-1255). As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
