- HAROLD LOUGH 1918 - 2006 Passed away, peacefully, at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on March 15, 2006, at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Trudy. Sadly missed by his son Jack, his daughter Rhenda and his grandson Mark. Survived by his sisters Margaret Heiman, Louise Boettger, Wilma Messer, Myrtle Hintz and Joanne Kuntz and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Augusta Lough (nee Dunkel), his first wife Jean Patterson Allan, brothers, Ernest, Roy, Norman and Lloyd, as well as sisters, Marie Underwood, Kathleen Boettger, Jane McFadden and Esther Lough. Harold served overseas in the Second World War with the Highland Light Infantry. Back in Canada he was a 38 year employee with J. M. Schneiders. Harold was a proud member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50, Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Harold with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South in Waterloo on Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19, 2006 from 2-5 p.m. A Legion service will be held in the visitation room on Sunday at 2: 30 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Harold's life will be held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 20, 2006 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Vern Tozer officiating. Following the service, friends are invited to join the family in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room for refreshments and a time to visit. Interment at Parkview Cemetery Waterloo. In Harold's memory, donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and can be arranged through the funeral home.
