- BOETTGER, Donald H. - Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 11, 1998, in his 80th year.
He was the son of the late David Boettger and Leah Lachman.
Beloved husband of 54 years of Louise (nee Lough). Loving father of Cheryl and her husband Ted Dougherty, Barry and his wife Nancy, Donna and her husband Reg Logel, Tim and his wife Kathy; cherished grandfather of Kelly, Todd and Robyn Dougherty, Travis and Ryan Logel, Benjamin and Elizabeth Boettger. Survived by sisters, Grace Kuhn of Tavistock, Winnie Hexamer of Brantford, Kathy and her husband Milt Schwindt, Lenore and her husband Art Plomske, Dorothy Musselman and brother-in-law, Carl Featherston.
Predeceased by sisters, Ruth Featherston, Pearl Beynon and brothers, Harvey, Carl, Warren and Earl. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Donald was a longtime employee of Uniroyal, Kitchener and lifetime member of Bridgeport United Church. Don was an avid golfer and enjoyed his retirement years on the course with his family and friends.
Don's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, tonight (Friday) from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bridgeport United Church, Kitchener.
