- Alton P. Bricks, 61, formerly of McWhorter Road, Dansville, passed away early Thursday morning, Dec. 30, 2004, at Teresa House, Geneseo following a long illness.
Alton was born in Dansville on July 21, 1941, a son of the late Alton and Nancy Mosher Bricks. On July 6, 1968, he married Anna L. Clark, who predeceased him on Aug. 22, 1993. He was also predeceased by his brother Stephen Bricks.
Alton was formerly employed as a nurse's aid at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for over 23 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, the Livingston County Multiple Sclerosis Society and a former member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1130 of Dansville.
Alton is survived by his son Michael (Lori) Bricks of Colorado; two daughters, Melissa (Jody) Carney of Avon and Mary (John Swift) Bricks of Cohocton; two sisters, Dolores Morello of Warsaw and Roberta Jennyjohn of Avon; his mother-in-law Mary Clark of Wayland; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends called Sunday from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, where services were held at the completion of calling hours. Burial was next to his wife Anna in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Springwater.
