SHAW, Jean Agnes - January 3, 1931 - June 8, 2014 Jean aka "the hat lady" adored by her friends and family died peacefully at home with her beloved husband JC Malcolm (our father) at her side. Jean a lady of wide ranging interests, an extensive traveller, voracious card player, reader and music lover. An individual of strong convictions and great wit, she supported and encouraged her friends constantly. She had an adventurous spirit and was not afraid to take the road less travelled. Jean was a source of inspiration to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Jean is survived by her husband JC, her sister Twinkle, children Andrew Shaw, Laurie Cooper (David) and Peggy Wilson, her grandchildren Bradley, Lindsay and Courtney. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at 1:30 p.m., Funeral Service at 2:30 p.m. at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, West Hill, ON M1E 2S2. Celebration of Life following the service at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 258, 45 Lawson Road, Toronto M1C 2J1. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
