| Charles Phillips Charles Ellsworth Phillips
Reverend Murray Arnill of Trinity United Church, conducted services in memory of Charles Ellsworth Phillips, Saturday afternoon in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed Tuesday Terrace Lawn Cemetery.
Born in North Bay, August 16th, 1913, Cap was the son of the late Charles Phillips and his wife the former Beatrice Garvin.
In his youth, Cana played hockey for Scollard Hall also the Sally Ann Fischers. He was a keen follower of all sports, and he was also a goal judge for many years at the the old North Bay Arena on King and Furguson.
Mr. Phillips had worked for the Liquor Control Board of Ontario, retiring in 1978.
He was predeceased by his first wife Jean Bellamy in the mid 70's and remarried Florence Fredericks July 31st, 1978.
He is survived by his wife Florence and his Donna, Diana, Shelley Sheryl, as well step as his brother William and sisters Esma and Dorothy.
