| Richard Faulkner Richard FAULKNER Obituary
Was taken home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2012 at the age of 72. Richard was born in San Francisco on February 22, 1940; he was raised in Santa Rosa. Richard graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 1958 and in 1959 he married the love of his life and best friend forever Betty J Wilson; they were married for 53 years. Richard left behind his wife Betty, mother in law Jewell, son Jeff and wife Tracy, daughter Lisa and husband Jon Illg, and son Greg. He also left behind nine grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jaime, Jennifer, Kristopher, Erica, Kimmy, Jovanna, Nikki, Megan and four great grandchildren, Tessa, Tyler, Troy and Darien. Richard was retired from PG&E and worked with property managing up until the day he died. He loved dogs, fishing and traveling but above all else, he loved his family with an adoration and pride that he wore like a badge. He leaves their hearts full of his love. His wit and sense of humor lives on thru them forever. They represent his best, his strength, his loyalty and his love without reservation. If you ever met Richard you can't help but smile at his memory and now shed a tear at the loss of this wonderful man. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at a Memorial Service on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Rosa Christian Church: 1315 Pacific Avenue. If you have a photo or a story to share please bring them.
