Jean A Walters Obituary
Jean A. Walters (Palmateer) passed away earlier this year on January 8, 2021. Jean was born on March 27, 1949 to the late Ralph and Irene Palmateer (Speedling) in Highland, New York. In August 1991 she married Philip Walters who has predeceased her.
Jean leaves behind her son, James Christiana; her grandson Shawn and his wife Jodee who reside in North Carolina; grandson James Christiana III and his wife Tia who reside in Texas; great grandchildren Ryan whom she loved dearly, Aubree Jean, Mason, Noah, Emerly, Jackson, Gabriela and Hannah; her loving brothers David Palmatier and his wife Mary, Elmer Palmatier and his wife Carmella; her loving sisters Irene Morgan, Rose Batchelor and Doris Nace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews especially her best friend and niece Edna Szostak.
She was predeceased by her brothers Frank Palmatier, Ralph Palmatier, Jr., Edward Palmatier, Freddy Palmatier, Robert Palmatier, Francis Tompkins and sisters Edna Leuzzi and Ella Mae Tompkins.
Jean's family would like to thank all who reached out to them in their time of need and give a big thank you to her friend Francine Delmar for all of her prayers during this trying time.
A celebration of Jean's life and Memorial Service will be held later this Summer. Arrangements are under the guidance of the Michael Torsone Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 38 Main Street, Highland, NY. |
