On Sunday, November 26, 2006 Mr. Len Burton of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Edgerton, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 84 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary of Wainwright; four children, Charles Burton of Wainwright, Eleanor (Ron) Preuss of Barrhead, Alberta, Louise (Craig) Davis, of Prince George, British Columbia, Shirley (Kevin) Montpetit of Clyde, Alberta; seven grandchildren, Stephen, Jason, Christa, Sean, Brady, Lena, Patrick; three sisters, Barbara (Ernie) Klymchuk of Andrew, Alberta, Joyce Goodall of Edmonton, Shirley (Pat) Kirkpatrick of Edmonton; one brother-in-law, Charlie (Helen) McLaughlin of Morinville, Alberta; well as many nieces, nephew and cousins; and a host of close friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Chris and Jessie Burton; one brother-in-law, Jim Goodall; one sister-in-law, Margaret (Armer) Middleton.
A Funeral Service for the late Mr. Len Burton will be conducted on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Edgerton Agricultural Hall, Edgerton, Alberta with Father Dana Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the Edgerton Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Creech's Funeral Home, Todd and Harry Creech directors in care of all arrangements.
