 | Donald Walker WALKER - November 2, 1979, Donald Irvine, aged 39 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Elsie Walker and dear father of Donnie, Debbie and Darin Walker, 503 Willowbrook Drive. S.E. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Dorwin (Audrey) Hawn, Saudia Arabia; Mrs. Lawrence (Jean) Foster, Edmonton; two brothers, Robert, Pembina Heights, Alberta and Stan, Edmonton. He was predeceased by his father, Jack, in 1951; his mother, Lillian, in 1976 and a sister, Thelma Jean Branchflower in 1977. Born at Manola, Alberta, Mr. Walker graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1962. Mr. Walker moved to Oxbow, Saskatchewan in 1962 and was employed by Royalite Oil Company. In 1965 he moved to Calgary and worked with Canadian Industrial Gas and Oil, a predecessor of Norcen Energy Resources Limited and was General Manager, Production, at the time of his demise. Mr. Walker was very active in coaching of hockey and lacross in Calgary. He was a member of the Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysists of Alberta and was past chairman of the Foothills Petroleum Golf Tournament. Services at St. Andrew's United Church (924 Heritage Drive S.W.) Tuesday, 2 p.m. with Rev. Eugene J. Prochaska officiating. Interment, Queen's Park Cemetery.
