      Randy passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord in the early morning of Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the Civic Hospital. Born to mother Leah and father Leo in Corner Brook, NFLD. Beloved and treasured husband of Vera Lidstone (Traill) for 67 years. Loving and devoted father of Jim (Rhonda) and Debby Christie (Andy). Cherished Papa of Kristen, Jennifer(J.P.), Thomas and Kathryn (Blair). Adored great grandfather of Lucas, Bradley,Mason, Wyatt, and Carter. Predeceased by brother Roy and sister Gloria. Loving big brother of Vera Burwell (Arnold), Joan, Doug (Ruby), and Florence Julien.
      Randy had a long successful career with Alcan Laboratories followed by an executive position with the Ontario Centres of Excellence, at Queen?s University in Kingston, ON. He was an avid skier and golfer and was a longtime member of Cataraqui Golf and Country Club in Kingston, ON. He later joined Carleton Golf and Yacht Club in Ottawa, ON. Dad loved life and lived it with the true ?newfie? spirit.
      A celebration of Randy?s life will be announced and held at a later date. For those who wish to make a donation in Randolph?s name please support a charity dear to your heart. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Central Chapel.
