Peacefully, on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in her 88th year. Predeceased by husband Stuart Bowman. Loving mother of Beverley Dillon, Linda Desjardins, Tim Bowman (Clarissa), Kevin Bowman (Lucie) and Wendy Lavigne (Jean-Marc). Fondly remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Elwood and Jean Pretty, brother Aldon Pretty (Maysie) and sister Winona Pretty. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street (at O'Connor) Ottawa, on Wednesday, April 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Special thanks to the loving staff at Laurier Manor for their time, care and attention. Memorial donations to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated.
