SPENCER, Mrs. Barbara - On Wednesday, June 5, 1974, at Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, Barbara Waechter, aged 74 years, of 41 Princess St. E., Waterloo. Born in Bamberg; member of St. Louis RC Church, Waterloo, and the Christian Mothers; daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Waechter; widow of Harvey Spencer; mother of Norman of Brantford, Herbert of Waterloo, Mrs. Norman (Florence) Ransome of Woodstock, Mrs. Michael (Eileen) Mulligan of Brantford, Mrs. James (Marjory) Tucker of Kitchener, Mrs. John (Marietta) Gorel of Waterloo, Mrs. Joseph (Mildred) Gorel and Mrs. Fred (Theresa) Foley, both of Kitchener; sister of Alex of St. Clements, Clarence of Bamberg, Edwin of Waterloo; also survived by 25 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; predeceased by one son, Bruce, two brothers, John and Peter, three sisters, Clara, Matilda and Kasellta and one grandson, Bradley.
Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 7 p.m. today for the parish rosary Friday at 8 p.m. in the chapel. Funeral mass Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Louis RC Church, Rev. Jerome Arnold officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.
