 | Jacob Sittler SITTLER, Jacob A. - On Sunday, Oct. 3, 1993, at his residence, Heritage House, Jacobs, aged 92 years.
Mr. Sittler was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs member of the St. Jacobs Lions Club.
Dear husband of Frances Sittler of St. Jacobs and was predeceased by his first wife, the former Lydia Spencer. Loving father of Charles and his wife Lillian of Kitchener, Joy and her husband Mahlon Snyder, Clementine and her husband Elmer Hill, all of St. Jacobs, Annie Sittler of Winnipeg, Ruby husband Allan Madgett of Trenton, Joan and her husband Don Blum of Kitchener, Esther Temple of Kitchener, Laurel and her husband Martin of Chepstow, Orvil Hasenpflug and his wife Mary of Petersburg, Edward Hasenpflug and his wife Kathy of Kitchener. Also survived by daughters Doris Sittler of St. Jacobs and Meryl Sittler of Winnipeg: sister-in-law, Ruby Sittler of St. Jacobs; 36 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren: 20 step-grandchildren and 29 step-great-grandchildren. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sons, Ken, Joe, Tom and John; daughters, Mary and Lorraine; brothers, John and Andrew: sisters, Marion and Catherine.
Mr. Sitter's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Wednesday, Transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs for funeral service at 2 p.m., Rev. Everett Mossman officiating. Interment to follow in Calvary United Cemetery.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
