 | Mrs. Mary Bergman BERGMAN, Mrs. Mary (Jerome) - At St. Mary's Hospital, on Thursday, Aug. 3, 1989, following a lengthy illness, Mary Catherine Bergman (nee Sittler), age 69 years, of 11 Overlea Drive, Kitchener, formerly of Heidelberg.
Mrs. Bergman was a member of St. Francis RC Church.
Beloved wife of the late Jerome P. Bergman, who predeceased her February 1, 1981. Dear mother of Douglas and his wife Sandra of Drumbo, Robert and his wife Merlene of Lucknow, Joseph and his wife Kendell of Edmonton, Alta., Mrs. Marylou Brown and Mrs. Barbara Amiss, both of Kitchener, Joylynn (Mrs. David Thomson) of Edmonton and Jennifer of Newmarket. Also survived by her father, Jacob Sittler and his wife Frances of St. Jacobs; sister of Charles Sittler of Kitchener, Mrs. Joy Snyder of St. Jacobs, Clemetine (Mrs. Elmer Hill) of St. Jacobs, Lorraine (Mrs. Donald Batley) of Peterborough, Ruby (Mrs. Alan Madgett) of Trenton, Joan (Mrs. Donald Bluhm) of Kitchener, Annie of Winnipeg. Lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren and one great child.
Predeceased by her mother, Lydia and four brothers, Kenneth, Joseph, Thomas and John Sittler.
Friends may call at the RatzBechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. tonight (Friday), where the parish prayers will be said at 8 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. followed 1 by the funeral mass and committal service at St. Francis RC Church at 4 p.m., Father Anthony Mancini, CR, officiating. Cremation to follow with interment in Parkview cemetery, Waterloo.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association may be made as expressions of sympathy.
