SPENCER, Herb - Herb has left us behind, going into his 64th year at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Sunday September 26th, 2004.
Forever loved and greatly missed by his wife of 46 years, Janet Fiddler Spencer. Forever loved by his three children, Debra Comeau (Larry), Chris Spencer and Cheri Spencer Beare (Bob). He will be sadly missed by his five grandchildren, Jamie (his computer Pal), Alaina (Lainie) and Shawn (So Tall) also Christopher and Alyssa (his Little Bunnies) who called him Pa Pa.
Herb was a first class firefighter (Helmet 101) for the city of Kitchener for 30 years. He retired in 1995. He is predeceased by his father, Harvey Spencer; his mother, Barbara Waechter Spencer; two brothers, Bruce and Norm; five sisters, Florence, Theresa, Eileen, Millie and Marjorie. Herb is survived by his sister, Mary Gorel of Waterloo. Love You--Ever.
Honouring Herb's final wishes, there will be no public viewing or services. A private family service will be held. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow at Memory Gardens, Breslau. Herb would like his friends, fellow firefighters and all those who knew him to celebrate life--for it is truly a gift.
