 | Charlotte Armstrong
Peacefully at Northland Pointe on Wednesday, Dec. 24th in her 93rd year. Born in Humberstone, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Wreatha (Sweet) Reeb and had lived in Port Colborne all her life. Always interested in her education, she studied Psychology at Brock University, English at Niagara College and did peer tutoring for women wanting to upgrade their language skills. She was a wonderful homemaker skillfully making clothes for her children and providing wonderful family meals for not only her own but anyone else who may have dropped in for a visit. She was a faithful member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle and later, the Christian Life Assembly. After raising her five children, she acquired hobbies including golfing, horticultural society and camera club. The loving and excellent care she received at Northland Pointe in her last few years has been a blessing to her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil (1982), son Bruce and sister, June Reeb, both in 2003, brothers Ward, Bill, Howard and Wilbert Reeb. Dearly loved mother of Charlotte (late Joe) Siba, Bill (Rosemary), Paul (Marilyn) and Ruth (Amos) Jacque, dear sister of Dawn Reeb, loving grandmother of Alan, Rob (Becky), Scott (Jennifer), Carolyn (Sean) Clail, David (Sheena), Jason (Jackie), Lindsay (Brandon) Galipeau, Rebecca (Chris) Brennen and Gregory Jacque. Also survived by 16 great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence St., Port Colborne Sunday from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm. Service will be held in the Armstrong Chapel Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Cheryl Moore, Northland Pointe chaplain officiating. Interment in Overholt Cemetery, Bethel. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Cancer Society. |
