    GARTON, George Stewart Sr. - Of 184 Waverley Dr., Guelph, passed away at his late residence, May 26, 1972, in his 59th year, loved husband of the former Olive Smith, father of John, Guelph, Janet (Mrs. Ronald Fallis) Route 3, Listowel, Florence (Mrs. Neil Koch), Route 1, Gowanstown, Barbara (Mrs. Martin Bye) and Brenda (Mrs. Clarence Sarvis) both of Mount Forest, George Jr., Acton, Lorraine (Mrs. Dennis Bristowe) Listowel, Reta (Mrs. William Deverell) of Englehart, Robert, Ronald and Debbie, all at home; also 16 grandchildren; brother of Jack, William, Olive (Mrs. George Sudds) all of Leamington, Gladys (Mrs. William Simpson) Bellingham, Mich., one sister predeceased.
    Resting at the McLaughlin and Reed Funeral Home, Listowel, until noon Sunday, then to Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in Fairview cemetery.
    Donations to the Ontario Heart Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
