DEINSTADT, Mabel 1918-2019
With heavy hearts, the family of Mabel Alma Deinstadt announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, November 23, 2019. She was 101 years old. Mabel was born in Drake, SK on July 18, 1918. She was predeceased by her husband Melvin; daughters Evelyn Baker and Donna Meyer; and granddaughter Debby Higgins. Mabel is survived by her daughter Irene Goodwin (Sherman); son Elvin; son-in-law Gordon Meyer; grandchildren Barb Higgins (Barry), Rhea Goodwin (Derrick), Ryan Goodwin (Kelly), Kevin Meyer, Nathan Meyer (Christina), Nicholas Meyer, and Shawn Meyer (Alex); fourteen great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister Vera Gilmour; brother-in-law Al Deinstadt. Mabel will also be missed by her best friend Mary Sali and friends at Cedarwood Manor. A Funeral Service will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East in Regina, SK, on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for breast cancer research, 1910 Mclntyre Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2R3
