FUCHS, Gladys Marie
December 5, 1942 – February 17, 2017
It is with our utmost sadness we announce the passing of our precious Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma (aka GG), sister, aunt, and friend. With her family by her side, she fought a courageous battle against cancer. Gladys was predeceased by her first husband Jack Lipp (1988), her second husband Don Fuchs (2006), and her father Pete Gilmour (2012). With a heavy heart she leaves her precious loved ones, Karen (Eldon) Fahlman, Jason, Curtis and Leanne, Jeff (Pam) Lipp, Rae-Lee & Terry Schropp, Justin & Kailee Lipp, Kathy (Marcel) Hagel, Derek and Dana, Lorna (Darren) Wendzina, Amanda (Colin), Tyler (Brooke) and her most precious great-grandchildren Hailey and Carter Schropp, and Jaxson Lipp. As well as her mother Vera Gilmour, her three siblings Phillip (Louise) Gilmour, Judy (Gordon) Hangs, Doreen Ruel (Ray), special friends Leonard, Horst, Ursula and The Bentley Family, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and longtime dear friends. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Boniface RC Church, Dilke, SK at 11:00am with Father Phillepe, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gladys’s memory may be made to the Oncology 3B Unit at the Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 7T1 or Wascana Grace Hospice, 2925 Reilly Avenue, Regina, SK S4R 0P4. Special thanks to Dr Barb, Dr Salim, many Oncologists, staff of 3B at the Pasqua Hospital, and the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic. And we can never forget the compassionate “Nursing Angels” at the Wascana Grace Hospice. |
