    Last respects were paid to a well known Callander resident at St. Alphonsus Church, Thursday, March 5, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Greg Humbert was Celebrant, assisted by Reverend Mr. Roy Ettles, p.d., Doreen Bissonnette, Maureen Fitzgerald, Andrew and Aaron Busch, Leslie Ann and Kimberly Hines were present in the Sanctuary, Spring interment at the Callander Cemetery.
    Born in St. Bruno de Guigue, Quebec, Mr. Masson died at Civic Hospital, North Bay, Tuesday, March 3rd at the age of 82 years.
    Mr. Masson is survived by his loving wife, the former Gladys Byers, his family, Steve (Marguerite) of Flin Flon, Manitoba, Jewel Manske (Terry) of Waterloo, Helen McDonnell (Jim) of Callander, Debbie LeBocuf (K.C.) of Lakefield, Terry Masson (Sharon) of Port Hope and Bernadette Vollick (Lee) of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren, He is also survived by his sisters, Jeanne Dufresne and Julie Martin, both of North Bay, Laurette, and a brother, Mac, both of Callander.
    Mr. Masson was predeceased by his parents, Henri and Eugenie Masson, a son, Ronnie, a sister, Noella, and four brothers, Maurice, Philip, Marcel and Lucien.
    Pallbearers for Mr. Masson were Murry Masson, Noel Bissonnette, Derek LeBoeuf, Bobby Masson, Maurice Martin and John Dufresne. Honorary pallbearers were Roy Robertson, Bill Pulyk, Lloyd Cross, Emie Dionne, Karl Tilander and Ivan Gagne.
    Funeral services were under the direction of the McGuinty Funeral Home.
