    Notes:

    GRAY, Karen Mary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, Karen Mary Gray, at her home in Kingston on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 65. Karen was born in Sulphide on February 28, 1955 to her loving parents, Omer and Mary Gray (nee Juby). Karen was the much loved sister of Leonard (Carol) of Tweed, Garnet (Ann) of Marysville and Susan O'Leary (Jim) of Stirling. She will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews Leanne Gilpin (Steve), Valerie Dake (Chance), Trevor Gray, Tanya Moore (Darrell), Josh (Chantelle) Gray, Michelle O'Donnell (Mark), Maegan Grills (Josh) and D'Arcy O'Leary. She was a loved member of the extended O'Leary family and will be missed by Dianne O'Leary and family. Karen was predeceased by parents Omer and Mary Gray and brother Richard (Connie) of Beachburg. Karen graduated with honours from Loyalist College as a Chemical Engineering Technician in 1983, securing a job at Dupont Canada in Kingston until her retirement in 2015. Family would like to thank her many neighbours and friends who supported her during her valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. Thanks also for the care she received from her medical team, Dr. Kondor, Dr. Baxfield and special PSW Katie and her great-niece, Mallory Moore, for her extra kindness and care. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held when conditions allow. Interment at Victoria Cemetery, Tweed will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation - Pancreatic Cancer Research would be appreciated.
