Angelo Malaspina, 72, of 43 Elm Villlage, East Hartford, formerly of South Glastonbury, died Monday (July 26) at Hartford Hospital. Born in New York City, he lived in Glastonbury most of his life.
He was a retired superintendent of the highway department for the Town of Glastonbury. He was also a former auxiliary state policeman.
He leaves his wife, Lois (Rockwell) Malaspina; a son, Joseph Banning of Enfield; three daughters, Grace Chapman and Judith Jaskulski, both of Glastonbury and Kathleen Mazauritis of Canterbury; a brother, Andre Malaspina of East Windsor; two sisters, Theresa Varni of South Glastonbury and Louise Marone in California; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hartford Lung Association, 45 Ash St., East Hartford.
