Frederick D. Banning of Westbrook Road, Essex, died Saturday at home. He was 67.
He was a former member of the Essex Fire Department. He retired from R.R. Donnelley's & Sons, Old Saybrook, after 30 years. He was the owner of American Heritage Antiques in Essex.
He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Lee Banning of Essex; two sons, Darren Banning of Richmond, Va., and Steve Bogan of Essex; a daughter, Autumn Banning of Manning, S.C.; a brother, Dennis Banning of Hartland, Vt.; and four grandchildren.
Calling hours are at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in Centerbrook Cemetery.
