Marieta Fox Sawyer, 95, of Taberg, passed away on January 12, 2012 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 11, 1916 in Taberg a daughter of Harry and Hazel Ballard Fox. Marieta was educated in Taberg and Camden schools. On July 25, 1951 Marieta was united in marriage to Erwin Sawyer. He passed away on October 21, 1979. Marieta was a member of Annsville Friendship Club. She is survived by a nephew; a very special friend and caregiver; and many great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a brother and sister in-law; Harry and Mildred Fox, and a nephew Lanny Fox. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery.
