    • D.R. "Speck" Clinkenbeard, age 88 of Oklahoma City passed away Thur. Feb. 2, 2006 from a sudden illness. He was born May 9, 1917 in Norman, Oklahoma to Martin & Bertha Clinkenbeard. Speck is survived by his wife Lorene Clinkenbeard, 1 sister Norda Waddle, 2 sons Ronnie & wife Mary, Vernon & wife Marilyn, brother-in-law George Gardner, 2 step daughters: Marieta & husband John Thorp and Bonnie & husband Mike Billotte. "Special cousin" Dorothy Claxton, 4 grandchildren: Megan, Molly, Jamie, and Shelley, 2 great grandchildren: Bridget and Austin, 4 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren. And host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Speck was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, 1 step grandchild. Speck served in the Army as a private first class with the 971st ordnance heavy auto maintenance Co. WW11. Services to celebrate his life will be held 2:00PM Monday, Feb. 6, 2006 at the Baggerley South Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Blackburn Cemetery.
