 Pauline Violet Williams 1926 - 2010 (84 years)

Beside them is Frank "Red" Armstrong (Gladys' husband) and his daughter Audrey. Paul contracted Tuberculosis and spent just about the entirety of Pauline's childhood in an sanitarium. She didn't see him much and when she did she didn't know him and was scared of him. He died when she was 7 years old. This picture was taken outside the Sunshine Sanitarium in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It no longer exists.
