"Sally" - Age 88 Of St. Paul Passed away peacefully February 13, 2012. Born July 1, 1923 in Roberts, WI. Preceded in death by husband John Garrity; parents Henry and Marion Kane; son Noel Nelson; former husband Chauncey Nelson; stepson John Garrity, Jr.; brother Fred Kane. Survived by children Nancy (Lance) Johnson, James (Cathy) Nelson, Margaret Ogren, Barbara Sommerville, Carolyn (Mike) Bradway, Jennifer Soderlind, Susan (Hameed) Shakeri, Rebecca (Ben) Kruenegel, Janet Nelson; stepchildren Tom (Collette) Garrity, Pat (Roxanne) Garrity, Kevin (Colleen) Garrity; 33 grandchildren; 20 great-grand-children; brother Joe Kane. Celebration of Life Thursday March 1 at 12:00pm with visitation with family 1 hour prior at Ft. Snelling Memorial Chapel (at intersection of Highways 5 & 55- follow Ft. Snelling signs) Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Salvation Army.
