WOMAN PIONEER, 70, LAID TO REST
Died as Result of Fall Downstairs; Was Active Worker To Last
STRASBOURG,--The funeral of the late Sarah Banning took place Wednesday to Lakeside cemetery. Since the death of her husband five
years ago the late Mrs. Banning had lived at the home of her son-in-law, George Sims, whose farm is immediately west of town. Although a woman of 70. She was quite active up until two weeks before her death when she slipped, and fell downstairs. Since that time she has been bedfast, gradually sinking until death came late Sunday night. The burial service at the house and at the grave was read by Rev. Clarke Lawson in presence of her immediate relatives and many friends from the neighborhood.
