Mrs. Walter Swalwell
MRS, WALTER SWALWELL
Largely attended by friends and relatives, the funeral of Mrs. Walter Swalwell, well-known resident of North Bay, who died on Jan, 21, following a short illness, was held on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 23, at two o'clock. Service was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Swalwell, 181 Klock avenue, with Rev, F. J. Baine, of Trinity United church, officiating. Interment was made in the Terrace Lawn cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs, T. Roberts, George and Fred South, B. Read, E. Pennock and J. Tomkins, Mrs. Swalwell was a native of London, Eng., and at one time was corporal in the Royal Air Force. She came to North Bay in 1921 and had lived here since. Among those from out-of- town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. James Boxall; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Swalwell and Mrs, E. E. Edwards and son, Hector, Carr; and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie McConnell and son, Harvey, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McConnell, Nipissing, A sister, residing in Matheson, was unable to be present.
