Elizabeth Byers
BYERS, Elizabeth -- Peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Thursday, September 18, 2003, in her 91st year. Elizabeth Byers (nee Restoule) was predeceased by her husband Enos Byers. She was the loving mother of Beatrice Hurley (Winstone) of Bentley, Alberta, Blanche Pollock of Powassan, Lula Gray (Wally) of Latchford, Norma Rowland (Royce) of Powssan, Clinton Byers (Linda) of Powassan, Nancy Frederick (Gene) of Powassan, Norman Byers (Joyce) of Powassan, Susan Cossar (John) of Powassan and the late Lincoln Byers. Lizzie was "Granny" to 29 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings George, Jim, Fred, Timmins, Eddy, Lawrence, Amy, Annie and Rosie. The Byers family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan ( 724-2024 ) today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the Funeral Home, on Sunday at 4 p.m. Interment to follow at Nipissing Cemetery.
