Gordon Byers
BYERS, M. Gordon - Mr. Gordon Byers died suddenly at North Bay General Hospital on Saturday, June 21, 2003 in his 92nd year. Gordon Byers was predeceased by his first wife Hazel Cobb and his second wife Winnifred Titus. He was the loving father of Lloyd Florence of Powassan, Gilbert Vera of Powassan, Keith Eleanor of Saskatchewan and Brian Byers Shelley of Powassan. He was predeceased by his brothers Bill, Alex, Levi, Enos and Irvin and his sisters Liza Grawbarger, Francis Radkey, Mary Turcotte and Esther Johnston. Gordon was the proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by grandsons Clarke and Bruce. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home in Powassan 705-724-2024 on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Interment Nipissing Cemetery.
