Elmer Hughes

HUGHES, Elmer Duncan - Elmer Hughes died peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital on Friday, May 25, 2007 in his 76th year. He was the beloved husband of Donna Victoria (Ibbitson) of Powassan. Elmer was the loving father of Joan Menard (Don) of North Bay, Ross Hughes (Maxine) of Powassan, Tim Hughes (Cori) of Powassan, Lynn Charbonneau (Andy) of Whitney, Lee Cotter (Clark) of Restoule and Gerald Hughes of North Bay. He was the proud grandfather of Jason (Amy) and Steven Menard, Travis Hughes, Brandon and Tyler Hughes, Adam and Stacey Cotter, Andrew and Kelli Charbonneau, Dylan and Madison Hughes, and great-grandfather of Lukas Menard, Conner and Carter Hughes. Elmer was the dear brother of Myrtle Grawbarger (Ireton) of North Bay, Vera Keith (William) of North Bay, Cora Nickelchok (AI) of Bobcaygeon, Roy Hughes (Barb) of Powassan and was predeceased by his parents Archie and Mabel Hughes, his sister Edna Nucara (Vitorio of North Bay), Douglas Hughes (Audrey of Powassan) and infant brother David Hughes. The Hughes family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, on Sunday, May 27, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 28, 2007, in the Paul Funeral Home chapel. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
