MRS. HARVEY MACINTYRE
God saw the road was getting rough, The hill was hard to climb And so he closed her tired eyes And whispered "Peace be Thine."
To these words marks the passing of Mrs. Harvey McIntyre at her home in Sherbrooke, Que., on Friday Nov. 4, after a long illness. Funeral services were held on Nov. 6th in Plymouth United Church conducted by the Rev. F. A. C. Doxsee with C. V. Chamberlain presiding at the organ and members of the choir assisting in the singing of two favorite hymns of the deceased "I Am Thine, 0 Lord" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus."
Born in Easton, N. H., on Dec. 5, 1884, the daughter of John Hamilton and late Margaret Brownlow Hamilton, Mrs. MacIntyre spent most of her girlhood and early married life in St. Johnsbury, Vt., where on March. 25, 1903 she was united in marriage to Harvey MacIntyre. Coming to Sherbrooke in 1912 she gained a large circle of friends.
She leaves to mourn her loss her husband; three daughters, Doris of Montpelier, Muriel (Mrs. Percy Gray), and Eunice of Sherbrooke; her father, John Hamilton of St. Johnsbury; two brothers, Edward Hamilton of Montpelier, and Dr. William Hamilton of Danville, Vt.: one sister, Miss Hazel Hamilton of Newport, N. H.: one son-in-law, Percy Gray of Sherbrooke; and two grandchildren, Bruce and Merlyn Gray; besides her sisters-in law, and nieces and nephews.
Interment took place in Prospect Cemetery. The bearers were Messrs. James Whiting, Frederick Emslie, Frank Ross, and Ralph Cutts of Sherbrooke, Charles George of Milby, and Andrew Johnston of St. Johnsbury.
The beautiful floral tributes bore silent testimony of the high esteem in which the deceased was held.

H.; Mr. and Mrs. H. Gallagher and daughter, Edna, of Plymouth, N. H.; Mr. and Mrs. William Flemming of Melbourne, Que.; Mrs. E. Wright and daughter, Edna, of Rudsdale, Que.; Mr. and Miss Lipsey of East Angus; Mr. and Mrs. F. Glass and Miss Bernice Glass of Lennoxville, Que.
