BENNINGTON - The graveside service for Robert S. Kennedy, 78, who died Monday at the Weston Hadden Convalescent Center in Bennington, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Woodside Cemetery in Belleville, N.Y. The Rev. Michael Jansen, pastor of the Watertown (N.Y.) First Free Methodist Church, will officiate.
He was born June 13, 1919, in Watertown, N.Y., son of Ralph and Dorothy (Selfridge) Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He worked as a mechanic in the aviation field for most of his life.
Survivors include his children, Patricia Lowe of Syracuse, N.Y., Roxann Bugnacki of Liverpool, N.Y., Rene Kennedy of Kirkville, N.Y., Gary Kennedy of Bennington, Irving Kennedy of Sylvan Beach, N.Y., Edward Kennedy of Thailand, James Kennedy of Kirkville, Robert Kennedy of Mattydale, N.Y., and Charles Kennedy of Syracuse; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours.
