Crime of the Week
The last time George Wesley Quick, 67, was seen alive was about 4:30 in the afternoon of Friday, Oct. 26.
Quick left his job in Cloverleaf Mall and vanished. The next day his car was found in the 3300 block of Meadowdale Boulevard. He was listed with police as a missing person, but the police had few leads They did however suspect foul play.
On Jan. 30, George Quick’s body was found in woods off Dalebrook Drive He was found partly clothed; the body was in a decomposed state. A joint investigation by state and county police has been conducted, but the case remains unsolved. Police believe that George Quick was murdered.
