Boys' Bodies Are Recovered In Winooski
JONESVILLE - (Special) -The bodies of two drowned Jonesville boys were recovered from the Winooski River here Saturday morning by state police.
Kim J. Hallock 11 son of Mr. and Mrs. Ceylon Hallock and Steven L. Blish 10 son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Blish were the objects of intensive searches Friday evening and Saturday morning.
They were reported missing Friday about 7:45 pm when they did not come home after going fishing in Jonesville. Police used bloodhounds in the search Friday night but failed to come up with anything.
Police dragged the river Saturday morning and found the bodies of the two in about 12 feet of water in a cove. The bodies were some 15 feet from shore.
State's Atty. Patrick J Leahy and medical examiner Dr Michael Probst were at the scene. The bodies were taken to the Gifford Funeral Home in Richford
