Clinton Hallock
CLINTON "RED" HALLOCK
ESSEX JCT. - Clinton D. Hallock, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010 in Green Mountain Nursing Home, Colchester.
He was born on Feb. 11, 1932 Starksboro, the son of Phillip and Ursula (Stokes) Hallock. He served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Red was later employed with the Cellucord Corp. in Richmond and worked for Simmons Precision in Vergennes. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and loved playing the harmonica. He was a consummate family man.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Geraldine "Jerry" (Stevens) Hallock; two daughters, Sharri L. Weston and her husband, Gary, and Shellie Hallock, all of Essex Jct.; his grandchildren, Timmy and Tyler Weston, of Essex, Nickie Morgan of Indiana, and Alicia Morgan of Essex; his sister, Freda Beane of Jonesville; his brother and wife, Clarence and Wilma Hallock of Lincoln; a many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents; Red was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Nelson, Clayton, and Celon Hallock, and Marion Brace, Isabelle Moody and Beatrice Knight; brothers-in-law, Frank Beane, Millard Brace, John Moody, and William Knight; and sister-in-law, Jacqueline Hallock.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Faith Baptist Church, Platt Street, Winooski. Interment will follow in Ft. Ethan Allen Cemetery.
