PAUL ARTHUR BRADLEY
HUNTINGTON - Paul Arthur Bradley, 71, of Huntington, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 29, 2014, in his home. He was born in New Haven on Aug. 25, 1943, to Charles Bradley and Minnie Stokes. He leaves his wife and best friend of 47 years, Rita Stevens Bradley; children, Penny Bradley and husband, Kelly May, of Starksboro, and Peggy Bradley and fiance, Paul Zugaro, of Huntington; grandchildren, Kaci Bradley of Burlington, Ashli Earle and husband, Tristan Earle, of Starksboro, Samantha Farmer of Huntington, and Tyler Petherick of Jonesville; great-grandchildren, Kristi Bradley-Presser, Bella Presser, Adrianna Earle, Peyton Farmer, Zander Earle, Matthew Bradley, and Emma Petherick; siblings, Leon Bradley and wife, Theresa, of Hinesburg, Anna Baker of Westford, Helen Vartuli of Grand Isle, and Mary Moody of Huntington; half brother, William Bradley and wife, Joy; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Lois Hall and Betty Colby. He served in the Army National Guard, and retired from a long career as a respected mechanic and welder. His family was always his first priority. For the last three years of his life, he was the sole caretaker of his beloved wife. He enjoyed cooking for, playing with, and teaching his children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He spent many peaceful hours in the woods, and at ponds and streams, as he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed bowling, gardening, and playing horseshoes. In keeping with his wishes, there will not be a service or viewing hours. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. We would like to say a special "Thank You" to the Richmond Rescue for all their help and caring. In lieu of flowers, we ask that any donations be made to the Richmond Rescue. He and his stories will be dearly missed, as he is now one of Heaven's new Angels.
