POWASSAN (Staff)--A resident of the Powassan area all his life, Everett William Grawbarger died Saturday at dale Hospital in Toronto following, an illness of three months. He was 61.
Friends may pay their respects at the Paul Funeral Home funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Restoule United Church. J. Peebles, lay minister of the Nipissing Pastoral Charge will conduct the service and interment will take place at the Restoule Cemetery.
Born, at Restoule, Aug. 10, 1940, Mr. Grawbarger was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Grawbarger. He lived in the area all his life except for time at his work. He was a handyman for the Ontario Hydro at Lower Sturgeon generating station in Timmins at the time of his death. Mr. Grawbarger was married Aug. 22, 1910, at Nipissing Village to the former Eva McConnell.
Surviving besides his wife, are four sons: Donald, Kapuskasing; Vincent, Chapleau; Ivan of Willowdale, and Lyall, of Thompson, Manitoba, and two daughters, Mrs. D. Forester (Olive), and Mrs. R. Avery (Ella), both of Powassan.
He is also survived by four brothers. Leonard and Harvey, of Restoule; Victor, of Thor Lake, and George, of Sault Ste. Marie, and five sisters, Mrs. Bert Smith (Bella), Sault Ste. Marie; Mrs. J. Odd (Ethel), Restoule; Mrs. M. Watson (Muriel, Pembroke; Mrs. William Odd (Audrey), Restoule, and Mrs. D. Boyd (Jean), Port Credit.
